Hi,
You should first try to do this one by one, and step by step.
Go to your Media Library, in List Mode. What does it look like? What is your filename now? When you hover the Auto (Rename) button, what does it propose you?
What are your settings?
Hello
It says that you need to buy the pro version if you want to rename files manually.
So basically with the free version you can do nothing if I’m right.

Hi,
It wouldn’t say that you need to buy the Pro version with the normal options. Yes, the plugin is an automatic plugin, it was its original whole purpose. Manual renaming added complexity based on that, with many more features, and it went into the Pro. You can do everything in automatic actually, and it’s much faster and better. Manual renaming is only for special cases, or for very advanced SEO purposes. I am using the free version on all my websites, even though I am the developer of it, so it definitely does many things 🙂
Hello
Thank you for your email.
Only one time I cold do the automatic rename. I did not save the changes because I think I first would update all titles and meta info about the pictures.
Once this was done, I tried to rename it again, but it did not work.
I can send you my login info and you could see it by yourself.
Thank you for your help.

This sounds like my issue as well. I see this has been resolved, so would appreciate hearing what the final solution was.
I managed to do an auto-rename of a number of media files. I then uploaded more (total 111 files), but the autorename does not seem to be working. Further details below…
I have changed the title of the images. The Scan shows the correct desired filename. All the files have an unlocked icon next to them. I click on the “Rename all” button and it shows the progress count, and on completion when I refresh I see that none of the filenames have changed?
Similarly when I use the Library directly, it shows the correct new name when I hover over the “Auto” button but when I click, it shows the twirly circle, but afterwards the filename is still unchanged. The files are definitely unlocked.
