• Could not find any threads about this…

I am using the “featured” label to mark items that are in stock on the site and would love to have the label automatically removed once the product goes out of stock (I am showing a certain amount of out of stock items on the shop, but not all).

Really don’t know anything about php, so not sure how to do this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Additionally, I’d love to auto move out of stock items lower (say, move menu order to position 10).

    Thanks!

Instead of doing this, you could perhaps customise whatever is showing featured products to hide out of stock products. Then, when they are restocked you won’t have to refeature them. Either way requires some level of customisation though…

Yeah, that’s what we’ve been using before. But now I want a certain number of out of stock items to appear on the site.

Depending on whats querying the featured products, you could exclude out of stock there only is what I mean.
