auto post for WP-adverts

    I have the blog2social installed as a trial.
    I run on my website a plugin called wp-adverts.
    In the configuration panel for Auto Publish I am able to check the box for :
    new articles

    – post
    – page
    – advert (this is the one I want to be auto published)
    – avia_framework_post
    – portfolio

    As you can see, the ” advert” option is in the list. But nothing happens if I create a new “advert” . So I tried the other options as wel, for instance “post” and “page” to see if “Auto Publish” works….but also nothing happens.

    If however I “push” individual posts, pages and even adverts via the manual option, it works.

    Resume :
    Auto Publish does not work
    Manual Publish does work

    For me it looks like the plugin in general is working, but only the ” Auto Publish” doe not work.

    Can you pleas advice what to do to make the ” Auto Publish” work. ?

    Rest assured, I will gladly support you with your request and I’m sure we can solve this.
    As far as I understand you are using a plugin to import the posts that shall be auto-posted. Is that correct?

    There are two different sets of settings in the auto-poster, one for your own original WordPress blog posts and one for imported posts (imported RSS feeds or posts you create / import with another plugin).

    All settings and social networks for the auto-poster can be defined for each WordPress user individually.
    Please be so kind as to make sure that each WordPress user or author whose posts should be auto-posted
    1. is activated with a valid Blog2Social Premium license (How do I activate my license key?)
    2. has the selected social media networks connected or assigned (Blog2Social -> Networks)
    3. is activated with the correct auto-poster settings

    May I ask you what do you mean by “Additional Info :Auto Publish for Instagram that is !!!”?

    Hello, thanks for your swift reply.
    To get straight to the point :

    1) Your question : ” As far as I understand you are using a plugin to import the posts that shall be auto-posted. Is that correct?” No that is INCORRECT :-). I use a pluging called WP-adverts , that creates ” adverts”. These are blog type posts. And as soon as one is created I want to Auto Publish these on Instagram with your Blog2Social

    2) you mention in bullet no 1 that I need a ” ..valid Blog2Social Premium license”
    I now use the TRAIL license, so is it correct that the Auto Publish works ONLY with the Permium License and NOT with the TRAIL license?

    2) Your question : ” May I ask you what do you mean by “Additional Info :Auto Publish for Instagram that is !!!”?” I only need it for Instagram currently, and I only tested Auto Publish for Instagram. I mentioned this to make clear to you what I did so far.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your feedback.

    1) Do I understand correctly that these posts types are created by the “adverts” plugin?
    Did you try using the auto-poster for imported posts?

    The auto-poster for your own original WordPress content is triggered when clicking on “Publish” in your WordPress backend post. With this one you can post to all of your connected networks.
    The auto-poster for imported posts is triggered when your posts are created / imported by other plugins. With this one you are able to automatically post to the following networks:
    Facebook (Profiles and Pages), Twitter and Google My Business.

    2) Of course, the trial version can be used for the auto-poster. This version is equal to the Premium Business version. Since Blog2Social works WordPress user-based, this means that all auto-post settings and network connections can be defined for each WordPress user individually.
    That’s why it’s important to activate the author of the post with your license key, to connect your preferred networks and set up the auto-poster afterwards.

    Ok. I will give it a try with the imported posts. I only see :
    Facebook
    Twitter
    Google My Business
    Telegram
    and NO Instagram, correct ?

    Thanks for your reply.

    That’s correct. To ensure compliance with the high quality standards of the new networks’ API rules and community guidelines Instagram restricts auto-posting for automatically generated content which is the case for imported RSS feeds as well as automatically generated content via plugins.

    However, if Instagram considers changing the guidelines regarding auto posting, we will check if we can implement Instagram for the Blog2Social autoposter for imported posts. In this case, we will inform you as soon as we have new information.

    Ok. Clear
    Some good news :
    advert post seems indeed to be published when I use the option “auto-poster for imported posts” I can see the post as published by the indicator in at the right side in edit mode, and it shows up in the calendar!

    Bad news…it does not show up in FB….hahahha, So the B2S plugin seems to work from a website perspective…but where did the advert post go to….:-)

    I will keep you posted if and where I find it on FB. It is a pitty that the plugin does not work for Instagram though. I’ve had twitter and FB already running with IFTTT “protocol” …

    I have to say that the manual push to Instagram works fine and I think I will purchase a license though as configuration of these types of messages saves me a lot of steps anyway. And…I hope, fingers crossed that your team will find a solution soon.
