Auto Populating a Page with Posts in Catch Responsive Theme

I have a few pages I want to auto populate with posts from different categories using the Catch Responsive theme. I am hoping someone can walk me through the code, and the steps for adding the code, using CSS. An example of the page I want autopopulated is my ‘recipes’ page current on the site but blank.
