    Hi,

When a user receives an email for a ticket update, is there a way to have the link leading back to our website an auto-login link? This way, when user arrives on our site they are already logged in. This auto-login link prevents users from having to remember their username/password.

Most importantly, an auto-login link in emails encourages user not to just abandon ticket because they can’t remember login info.

    Thanks for any clarification.

Just to clarify, this addon will allow me to send links in emails that will automatically log user into WordPress when they come back to the ticket system? This auto-login link prevents users from having to remember their username/password because it logs them into WordPress automatically?

I didn’t see anything about this feature on the plugin page.

Please clarify my last question so I know whether to purchase the addon. Thank you.

    Hi @andrew55

The user will have to login in order to reply to the ticket. Currently, we don’t have this auto-login feature. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

@muditsushil – sure, something like this should work. What other system are you using? Autonami has a nice auto-login feature, and I’m currently begging them for an integration with Awesome Support. When an action occurs in Awesome Support, this would trigger an automation/email (with auto-login link) to be sent out from Autonami. I hope they will provide integration.

I hate sending users a link back to our site only to have them face a login screen which asks for credentials they cannot remember. Then they just leave the site.

    Hi,

In Awesome Support have one feature for click to view tickets when users receive an email notification, this is with the Productivity add-on:

    https://getawesomesupport.com/documentation/productivity/click-view-email-template-tag/

Here is the Productivity add-on description:

@yeisonbp thanks for sharing – these tags are better than not having anything (without logging in), but I still wish you would make a link in email that users could use to actually log into WordPress and view their tickets. This way, user can reply in ticket form without having to log in, and they can go purchase products on website without logging in.

In the previous ticket system I used (aMember), I used auto-login links in all tickets and never had an issue over 10 years, with 100nds of tickets. I still use aMember for some sites, but certain ecommerce systems work better without it (that’s why I’m here).

    Hi @andrew55,

With these email tags, users can go to the ticket without the need to login. Also, in order to understand better, do you need a link like “click to view your tickets list” and so they can go there without logging in (once clicked and auto logged in, users can go to all the page areas without the need to log in again, this is how it works with the click-to-view template tag)? If so, I can ask for a quote. For more details, you can fill in the form here:

Otherwhise, I can add it to the feature requests list.
