    Hello!

First of all, thank you for your awesome plugin.

I have one problem: I enabled automatic updates to “Everything” and turned everything else on.

Then I also tried Advanced > Force automatic updates.
    I also ran all 3 scheduled tasks manually (wp_version_check, wp_update_themes, wp_update_plugins).

But still I see one bubble in the top left corner (1) and if I click on it I see “There are new translations available. Install translations here”.

I have to do this every few days and want that the translations ALL get automatically installed.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

Are you able to update the translations manually?

Does it appear to be an issue with specific translation sets, or all trnaslations?

Are you able to update the translations manually?

    Yes.

I now see that also plugin updates are affected, they are simply not installed.

This is my current update panel:

    Hi,

EUM does not have any code for interacting with WP’s translation updates. i.e. There’s nothing you can set in EUM that will make any differences to WP’s default behaviour. I will add a list to our tracker to look into whether we should change that.

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer.

But what is WordPress default behaviour when everything is setup as described? E.g. in a fresh installation?

Are your plugins, themes, translation files automatically updated AND installed, so that you never see a bubble in the top left corner? Or am I totally misunderstanding something?

    @vielhuber

The default behavior is only minor core updates when the plugin is freshly installed. From there, you can configure the updates the way you like.

A translation fix is on the way.

    Hello,

    my question is different:

If I enable automatic updates to “Everything” and turned everything else on, what is the behaviour of WordPress then?

Are plugins, themes, translation files then automatically updated AND installed, so that you never see a bubble in the top left corner? Or am I totally misunderstanding something?

    Hi,

If automatic updates are set to ‘Everything’, any available updates will be installed approximately every 12 hours.

We cannot guarantee that you will not see the ‘update available’ bubble, as an update may be detected before the scheduled update time.

    Hello!

    Thanks for clarification.

Then this clearly does not work. I see Bubbles “3” with the same updates pending since more than 5 days.

Apologies if we were not able to get back to you.

Are you still having this issue?
