I imported the TablePress Auto Import Extension and am having a slight issue.

I created a Folder “TPUploads” under the “wp-content” folder of my specific site. I then uploaded a .csv called “Throw.csv” using filezilla. Once that file was uploaded I then imported the “Throw.csv” as a new table within WP. This worked great.

I then went back under the Import function Of TablePress and checked the Activate box under the “Auto Import Tables” section and selected “CSV”, “File on Server” as my source type and then entered the same path including the “wp-content/TPUploads/Throw.csv” for the Source.

When I select “save auto import configuration” it immediately opens a webpage on my site with a page not found and “wp-admin/admin-post.php” in the address bar.

Any help is greatly appreciated and so far TablePress is great!

I think i have actually answered my own question. I used the URL option instead and included the http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/TPUploads/Throw.csv and it seems to work now. I will confirm that it is working correctly with the 15 min feature and then close this thread.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, sometimes a server can not read the file from the file system, so that using the URL is the best option. Good to hear that this worked! 🙂

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
