Auto-generate featured image from custom field?

Hi there,

I’m in the process of rebuilding a site with a large number of posts. In the past those posts have been set using a custom post field (created using WP Toolset) but for the new version I’d like to retroactively generate featured images for all posts from that field.

I looked at a couple of plugins for transferring post-meta fields, but I need to retain the image in the custom post field as well as having it appear as the featured image, to ensure backwards compatibility.

Is this something either the paid version of this plugin can do? I have downloaded and tried the free version but it isn’t assigning the images – I’m guessing because they’re held in a custom field rather than in the post body.
