Hi,

I had given the shortcode required:
[dflip id=’8016′ type=’thumb’][/dflip]

adding type=’thumb’ creates lightbox

Beware the quotes can be wrong while copying. just type them yourself.

That is the solution we have. The earlier customer wanted that and we gave that solution. Automatic fullscreen is not available. The best is the lightbox that can auto-open with deep-link.

You will have to add custom code for that:

And we don’t recommend that either cause it’s confusing.
That was created cause one of the customers really insisted.

Lightboxes are the best solution that we have and recommend that to the users.

You are new to the plugin and it’s not working as you imagined. But the plugin has limitations.

Lightbox meaning the popup that opens by clicking the thumb. Other third-party lightboxes won’t work properly due to sizing issues.

Are you wondering how the deep link works?

Actually, deep links are created so that users can directly go to the flipbook on a page.

When the page has many flipbooks, like this page:
https://dearflip.com/flipbook-examples/

you can use the deep link to open the flipbook directly.
https://dearflip.com/flipbook-examples/#flipbook-mazda-3/1/
Or even a page inside it.

Luckily this solution also works when you need a flipbook to open in a bigger version closer to fullscreen. So we suggest flipbook inbuilt lightboxes.

Now deep links are just links that you use just link other links. Nothing new on usage.

You have to disable IDM, using it means you don’t want PDF to displayed but downloaded.

For full-height use add height="100vh" in the shortcode. Also, make sure the layout is fullwidth and has no padding and margin. flipbook doesn’t add any margin so anything extra is from the theme and you will need to set those to 0.

It’s a PDF and just like images it and won’t be responsive similar to HTML. It will scale as per the size.

It will look even smaller in phones.
