Auto-fill on e-mail form

In a mobile environment (chrom) if a user attempts to auto-fill the e-mail filed it does not work. The user gets a “filed required” message. I have tried deleting the field and adding it back. “required filed” is not checked in settings. If you do not add any data it works. If they type out the e-mail it works, but can not auto fill using android device. Please advise. This is not good!
