• I have editor privileges (not admin). I would like links on posts to auto-expand (the way they do on Facebook) to display headline, first few sentences. Is there a way for me to do this on the WordPress site I’m helping with? (I am *not* a coder, only know how to ‘adjust/edit’ an existing html page … ).

Is there a way to have this happen in email messages?

a ‘search WordPress’ option for auto-expand got zero hits – is there is different terminology?

I know there are more recent versions of WordPress. I don’t have the permissions required to update.

    Sylvia

  • It would involve writing code, or at the very least installing and configuring a plugin, and you’d need administrator privileges to do that. Have you talked to the site administrator?

You’re talking about something like this right? http://jsfiddle.net/Sybck/1/
