Auto display a gallery of blog post images

Hi,

I’m looking for a gallery plugin that will automatically generate a gallery from the blog post images rather than just displaying clickable thumbnails.

From what I can see all gallery plugins sell themselves on being able to add galleries after the fact by inserting a short-code. I want to avoid this step and have it done automatically.

Do any of the gallery plugins create galleries from blog post images by default?
