[NSFW] Author’s posts are not visible in the Authors List app

    Hello,
    I’m using the Koga WordPress theme.
    I installed the Author List plugin. When I click the Authors menu, all author names appear. However, when I click on an author’s name, the post list doesn’t appear. I get a “forbidden” warning.
    How can I fix this?

    I noticed the following issue with the plugin: If you click on an author when the administrator account is open, on the author’s post archive, that author’s all posts will appear. However, when a regular user clicks on the author’s name, the “forbidden” post list will appear instead. What could be causing this?

    Looks like a permissions issue, not a bug in Author’s List.

    • If posts are set to Private (or restricted by another plugin), admins can see them but regular users get Forbidden.
    • Some themes/plugins block author archives for non-logged users.

    Check:

    1. Make sure the author has at least one Public post.
    2. Test the direct author URL (e.g. /author/username/) in incognito. If still forbidden → likely blocked by theme or another plugin (membership, security, etc.).

    You may need to adjust those settings or disable conflicting plugins to find the guilty element.
