    Hi there

Is there anyway of changing the admin link on every post ‘May 24th, 2009 | by admin’ to a link name of a specific url?

    Many thanks in advance

  • Need to describe that better.

Do you mean if the post is dated May 24, 2009 and the author is admin show a specific link? And by link do you mean link to the author’s posts?

    Hi Michael.

Sort of right but not fully. I want to change the admin name to another name and link it to the url e.g. ‘May 24, 2009 | by Nike’ and that links to Nike url ‘http://www.nike.com’

Would you know how this is done?
Thanks for helping out again, I appreciate it so much.

First of all, create a “newadmin” user and login as that user.

Then create a user called Nike. Then delete the ‘admin’ user and assign the posts to Nike.

True, I see how it works now. So I have to create many “newadmin” in order for me to link it to that particular url.

Your the best Michael, thank you abundantly. I am learning so much and this is has been the best week in ages.

Just between me and you, your nickname is ‘The Archangel’ sweet.
