Title: Authors Cannot Update Profile Pic Last modified: April 8, 2019 --- # Authors Cannot Update Profile Pic * [atkoehler](https://wordpress.org/support/users/atkoehler/) * (@atkoehler) * [7 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/authors-cannot-update-profile/) * I have authors listed out on a staff page, however when an author goes to upload a picture in their profile or changes on gravatar the upload or update is not reflected so the profile image is not changed. For the upload, non-gravatar option, it does not appear to upload anything. * I am not sure how to proceed, at some point in time these features worked as the authors have pictures, but can no longer update their pictures. * I am using the Starbox Pro plugin which is at version 1.5.2. I don’t see the theme to show the author image at all. I don’t understand why Starbox is dependent on the theme displaying an author picture when the author page has nothing to do with where the author boxes are being displayed.
