• Spent many hours working on getting this plugin to work with authorize.net. It is erratic; for awhile it will work and then it will fail with no changes to settings or authorize.net account. cannot be trusted for use with authorize.net

Paid $50 for a premium suppoty ticket with 24 hour response committment (evidenced by a countdown timer on the topic). Response was just outside of the 24 hour committment, very brief, incomplete and then the support rep posted “we’ll pick this up next week”.

I decided to try Stripe in place since I had already sent out real invoices (initial testing worked on test and live accounts, then failed erratically). The processing with Stripe seems to work fine, although I pay a 35% higher discount rate with them than I do with transactions going through Authorize.net.

The main problem with Stripe though is that the wp-invoice plugin does not pass the customers name to Stripe, therefore you can’t see who made a payment by name – you’ll have to use their email address to look them up.

My recommendation is to stay away from this plugin unless you are doing manual payment only, no gateways or stripe. Test thoroughly and if you decide you need support, abandon the product and find some other solution.
