 * Using WP-Invoice Version 4.1.1 & WP 4.4.1
 * Problem: “The merchant Login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive”
 * Gateway Username (API Login): Configured correctly
    Gateway Transaction Key:
   Configured correctly Gateway URL: [https://secure2.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll](https://secure2.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll)
   Test / Live Mode: LIVE – Process Tranactions Delimiter Character: comma Encapsulation
   Character: blank
 * Checked multiple times as well as Client’s Authorize.net settings.
    Disabled
   plugins and nothing interferes. Template good, too. Running WooCommerce with
   same settings and that works perfectly.
 * Did a search for problem:
    [https://support.authorize.net/authkb/index?page=content&id=A415&pmv=print&impressions=false](https://support.authorize.net/authkb/index?page=content&id=A415&pmv=print&impressions=false)
 * Nothing relevant to our settings.
 * Your thoughts?
 * Thank you in advance.
 * Regards,
    Howard

 * Hello,
 * there are two places where gateway settings are stored: global in plugins Settings-
   > Payment and in every specific invoice at the bottom of the edit invoice page.
   When you create invoices they inherit gateway settings from global settings and
   save them for future use.
 * So I assume you created invoice with incorrect or empty settings first and then
   updated global settings. So that way you may have incorrect gateway settings
   in the invoice (that was created before global payment settings updated) you
   are using for tests.
 * So just try creating new invoice or change existing invoice specific payment
   settings.
 * Let me know. Thanks.

 * Hi Anton,
 * Thank you for the quick response.
    Actually…client never had the MD5 created
   on the Authorize.net side of things. Afterwards, created new invoice as you advised
   and was able to get through without issue.
 * Best,
    Howard
