[resolved] Authorize jetpack keeps saying password is incorrect (3 posts)

    Hi everybody. My site hasn't been online that long and I've been searching for a safe way to create some must-have features on my site, like the light box effect with images.

    Anyways I found jetpack, installed the plugin and I'm now at the point where I have to authorize the connection between my site, jetpack and wordpress. I need to fill in my username and password, and I've done that. I only entered my wordpress information, not that of my site! But it keeps telling me my password is incorrect. I even changed my password on my wordpress site so I'd be sure I'm filling in the right password but jetpak keeps telling me my password is incorrect. Very frustrating, anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?

    When you are asked to enter a username and password by Jetpack, you should be using a WordPress.com account, not your local WordPress account. Two different accounts.
