Authorization NOT WORKING – 6.4.9.4

When I click to authorize, popup occurs as expected. When I click OK there, it simply takes me to the last tab already open in my browser. No Authorization code appears. (NOTE: one of the tabs in same browser is open to this new account in Google Analytics).
What’s missing? thx
