Support » Plugin: LinkedIn Company Updates » Authorization has expired

For a client I would like to know if it’s possible to automatically authenticate. At the moment the authorization expires after 60 days. I couldn’t find an easy answer for this, so I would like to know if there is a solution.

    Thanks in advance!

As far as I know this is not possible. The user needs to explicitly visit linkedin’s authorization page to re-authenticate.

If you re-authenticate before the 60 days are up it’s slightly more convenient in that you skip having to click “Allow” on the linkedin page, it auto redirects you back to your site. But you still have to manually visit that page. Next update I’m planning on having the notification in the backend display a few days before authentication expires so users can more easily take advantage of that convenience.

That’s clear, thanks for your answer.
