    Hello,

    We have previously been using the braintree plugin, which has been working fine.

    But suddenly I am having an issue on checkout. The error says:

    There was an error processing your payment. Reason: Authorization check failed.
    It has happened with multiple cards and Braintree say they cannot help.

    Many Thanks

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @nabaraj-chapagain,

    When something suddenly stops working it’s almost always something related to your Braintree account settings.

    You need to login to your Braintree control panel and make sure the permissions of the user associated with your API keys are correct.

    Also, if your provide Braintree support with your merchant ID they will lookup your logs and tell you the exact reason for the error.

    Thanks,

    Hi @nabaraj-chapagain,

    I checked your website and you’re getting the following error when the page loads:

    3D Secure version 2 is not enabled for this merchant. Contact Braintree Support for assistance at https://help.braintreepayments.com/

    So you have 3DS enabled but you haven’t requested 3DS 2.0 support. You need to contact Braintree support and ask them to enable 3DS 2.0 for your account.

    Did you contact Braintree support like I recommended regarding the logs? They are the only ones that can look at your account logs and once they look that up they can tell you the exact cause. This is not a plugin issue but rather how your account is setup in Braintree.

    Also you have quite a few JS errors on your checkout page where undefined variables are being called. JS errors can interfere with the plugin’s ability to properly load.

    Kind Regards,
