Author Pro – no drop down for category menu in library pages

    Add the following to your theme functions file

    add_post_type_support( 'books', 'genesis-simple-menus' );

    Thank you Ron. do I need to put the bracket and semi colon in at the end, juut that when I add it to my functions file, I end up with a blank white screen on my website.

    You need to add the line exactly as it is.

    If you pasted it into your functions file through a web browser your browser may have converted the quotation characters to encoded characters (which causes a white screen). If you are pasting with your browser then paste it into a text editor & recopy it into your paste buffer before pasting in the browser.
