Author name links to a specific post

I want to make a community website but since I noticed that profiles are not searchable, well the info that is in the profiles, I thought my members could create a post as a profile and ad much info and pictures so that they could easily be found when searched.

(If anyone has a better idea of knows a way to make profiles searchable, thank you to let me know.)

My question : could someone tell me how I could automatically link the authors’ names with that specific post tehy will use as a profile, so that wherever their name is clicked, the link opens that post instead of the usual profile page?
