I’m not sure what has recently changed, but noticed now that the Author’s name to all my posts are now showing as “[1]”. I’ve confirmed the User’s name is properly provisioned within WP.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I have exactly the same problem, it’s not only the Author’s name, but all user names (e.g comment authors).

When inspecting the source code, the author vcard seems to be there, but the name doesn’t show correctly. I am not sure if it’s a faulty database reading or something else, but this needs fixing 😉

    Hey @clsimmon @miarr0wporg,

Do you both, by any change, have the Gutenberg plugin installed on your website?

    Let us know. Thank you!

Hi, yes you are on to something. I was running the latest Gutenberg release but when I deleted the plug-in, the author’s name returned as it should.

@hardeepasrani You are right. Deactivating Gutenberg did the trick. Thank you!
