I would pay for this plugin if the author wasn’t constantly attempting to add new features or rework its display, and breaking it in the process. Today, I let it update from 14.9.4 to 14.10, and once again, it broke two important features and I had to roll back the website to yesterday’s Updraft backup.

There’s a constant nag in the settings about switching to client side tracking, because server side tracking will go away in version 15. Tried it, and the site stopped registering most visitors. Really takes away any motivation to pay for the would-be “Pro” version of the plugin, or even allow automatic updates.

    Hi @panhandleponics ,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced. We’re working hard to fix the bugs and prevent such problems in the future. Our goal is to provide a great experience for you and all our users, and we hope to do better moving forward.

Regarding server-side tracking, after reading your comment and receiving feedback from other users, we’ve spent more time comparing the two methods. We found that server-side tracking shows more views compared to client-side, and we’ve noticed that the analytics data from client-side tracking is more accurate. We’re dedicating additional time to improve our accuracy and will provide better documentation for client-side tracking to help you make the most of it.

If you’d like, we can take a deeper look at the specific problem you’re facing. Please send us an email through our contact page, and we’ll be happy to assist further.

Also, regarding the first part of your feedback, could you provide more details about which specific plugin feature or part of the plugin you encountered issues with? This will help us investigate and resolve the problem more effectively.

    Best regards,
    Navid
