Author edit box does not appear in post edit page

    Hi, I’ve activate plugin and it works ok, except one thing.
    In admin, when I’m editing a post, the box to edit the author of the post does not appear. However, when I’m editing a page it does, and I can change author in it.
    Could you say me what’s wrong with it?

    I have the same issue. I’m running WP 3.5, maybe that is the issue?

    This box you are referring to is not controlled by our plugin. It is built-in WordPress.

    Have you checked that in the display options of the post-edit, you have the author box check?

    It’s at the very top of the page, under “screen options”.

    Duh! Thanks for that tip. I never even saw the “screen options” drop down until you mentioned it.

    The author box created looks perfect in the WP edit preview, but after actual posting it does not show in the blog post on the live website. While editing, I’ve made sure “screen options” on the blog post has “author” box checked for display. Any other clue what might prevent the author box from showing on the actual blog?

    Never mind! I just realized that the author box does appear correctly on the actual blog post page – it just doesn’t appear in the blog list page.

    Thanks for a great plugin – very handy.
