"Author" cannot add polls despite having "manage_polls" capability

    “Author” can add “Post” so “Author” needs to be able to add “Poll” as well.

    I have used “Advanced Access Manager” and “User Role Editor” to enable give “Manage roles” capability to “Author” but they still cannot add new or edit existing polls.

    “Author” can only view polls in my case.
    “Editor” and site administrators can add new and edit polls in contrast.

    Is it a PollDaddy’s bug or is there anything I can do to allow “Author” manage polls?
