"Author" Can not see extended writing panel

    Hi guys,

    Author level can not see extended writing panel which means they can not see any other sections on the panel except the writing textbox. They should see Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Custom Fields, Discussion etc. Interestingly, Contributor level can see all these but Author level can not.

    How can I solve this?

    sorry for disturbing posting repeatedly but i still have this problem, anyone has any idea about it?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
