Author Box only showing one author

    Hi

    I added the Author box gutenberg block to a page, and I have 3 Authors

    But the Author box shows only one Author – how can it show all authors?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I am trying to add a screenshot of the author box, what I see on the page, and the settings area, but somehow it does not seem that the screenshots are uploading.. I tries to copy them here using “Ctrl C”

    So I’ll describe it.. the gutenberg block is called “Author Box” it has an image of three people, the middle one is in front of the other two – is this the right block to use?

    @einatyaor I believe that is coming from other plugins or theme since we don’t have specific custom block yet.

    Currently the only way to put it into a page is by using shortcode: https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/shortcodes/

    I have now been playing with it for hours – changed my theme , removed the instructor role plugin
    It seems that it is not because it is showing one user – it is only able to show the user that is the default site administrator..
    I also saw maybe some errors that seems to have to do with right to left language? I tried changing all the author names to English but it still doesn’t work

    Hi again
    So now I finally understand – the Author box is only showing me the author of the specific page which I put the Author box on
    How can I show all the Authors I have in my site – on a certain page?

    Because actually I do need more help

    First, the shortcodes work great! Thank you for this

    I have been playing with author pages, I went back and forth with clicking and unclicking the “enable author pages” options while trying out options…
    Now I have clicked it but when I try to see the Author pages either through preview or through the site I get a “This page isn’t working… minorrabbitsshape.mylearndash.com redirected you too many times.” – I deleted all my cookies and it didn’t help..

    Also I tried to use the explanation of how to customize the Author pages from here https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/customize-author-pages/ – and when I tried going to this “/wp-content/plugins/publishpress-authors/src/templates/parts/” – folder I got a message – “Forbidden, You don’t have permission to access this resource.”

    So I’ll be very happy for help with this

    Does the Pro version make the Author pages customization simpler?

    @einatyaor This issue happens because permalink need to refreshed after enable or disable Author Pages.

    Please go to WP-admin > Settings > Permalink. Just click save again, and it will flush your permalink and should solved your issue.
