    2. In your demo site there is share button followed by read more icon at home page. How to enable that?

To add the share buttons read the Documentation, Tips Hacks section

As for avatars, you need a Gravatar associated with your email address.

I’m also new to wordpress. I’ve found yours template very interesting and quite easy customizable. But I’ve stucked on your instruction with tips connected with social media: I don’t know how to create php-file. What’s more in my version there is not any folder post.template or so. I’m not using ftp – is this necessary to add social icons? Please help me 🙂

@Marilabo.pl I advise you DO get familiar with FTP, as you might not NEED to use it for most things, but it certainly takes you to an higher performance level if you can understand and modify the structure of your wp files. I use CyberDuck, but you can use Filezilla or a number of free FTP software. Alternatively, you can use the file manager most hosting services provide to start.

And social icons are already included, the instructions posted are for social share buttons to appear next to the author panel at the bottom of the post.

The Tips Hacks instructions worked for me!, thanks!
