Authentification without cookie

Sorry if my question as already been asked, but I can’t get no confirmation on this point.

I’m trying to understand if there is a way to build an api for external clients wich can be used without having to login on the wp-login.php.

I read the note in your documentation :

Note: Currently with WP OAuth Server and WP REST API, you MUST either use OAuth or traditional cookies (normal WP login). You CAN NOT use both at the same time. When using WP OAuth Server, ensure you are logged out of WordPress.

But I’ve been trying to authenticate via an external php client, using CURL, and I’m always redirected to the wp login form…

Am I getting wrong somewhere? Is that possible with your plugin?
