# Authentication failed

 * ‘m using WordPress 3.9.1 with OpenLDAP 2.4.31 for my sysadmin course project,
   running an Ubuntu server 14.04 LTS vbox machine with ip 192.168.1.10. I tried
   almost every WordPress LDAP plugins and only LDAP LPRM works, but I don’t like
   its mapping roles function, so I’d rather use Active Directory Integration plugin
   but when I test my configuration I get:

 * Is that just the latest wpDirAuth, or is there another thing I need to download
   for the role patch?

 * You need the latest wpDirAuth and overwrite wpDirAuth.php with wpDirAuth.3.php

 * found the solution
    had to go over to the user tab in Active Directory Integration
   Settings and set the account suffix. after i did this everything works as expected.

 * I had a the same issue but I had to contact my VPS server company that hosts 
   the wordpress site to make adjustments… Can’t for the life of me understand why
   my server had to have its firewall settings adjusted but worked instantly after
   I received the “all done” notice.
