 * I create websites for 4 Aussie Rules Football Club – many of the junior games
   have higher points than goals kicked and it will hardly ever put the outcome
   correctly as it is set to configure most goal kicked as the winner. Is there
   anyway to change the higher total score to the win and the lower score to lose?
 * I have to go in and correct every game that I score each week.
 * Thanks

 * Hi!
 * Thanks for reaching out!
 * You can change this under SportsPress > Configure. Set the Win to be based on
   points instead of goals.
 * If that doesn’t work for you, please kindly send us screenshots of your Configure
   screen.
 * Thanks!

 * I would love that if that could work. Working with junior teams can make that
   difficult.
 * eg: Team1 2.2-14 vs team2 0.16-16 – Team 2 wins but not in Sportspress as it
   is set to goals.
 * But if we go the other way and choose points it then mucks up for a score like
   eg: Team1 6.8-44 vs team2 1.9-15 it would then make team2 WIN
 * Is there anyway that I can set the win/loss to total points at the end?

 * Hi!
 * Thanks for your reply.
 * Since I’m not familiar with your sport this is still a bit confusing.
 * Would you mind explaining how it works? How is a win defined? How are points (
   or even goals) defined?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi Roch,
 * Aussie Rules can be confusing to those that don’t understand
 * each goal (first score) is worth 6 point and the second score is an individual
   point so therefore in the example
 * eg: Team1 2(2×6).2-14 vs team2 0.16-16 – Team 2 wins but not in Sportspress as
   it is set to goals.
    But if we go the other way and choose points it then mucks
   up for a score like eg: Team1 6(6×6).8-44 vs team2 1(1×6).9-15 it would then
   make team2 WIN
 * As I suggested is there a way for the total score determine the win/loss ?

 * Hi, is there any chance that we have an answer to help me out yet ?? It would
   be really appreciated.
 * I have a few of my clients wanting to update to the pro version but I am loathed
   to agree to this until I has sorted this problem first.
 * Please advise

 * Hi [@desccomputers](https://wordpress.org/support/users/desccomputers/),
 * Is it possible to share a screenshot with your current configuration (equations
   etc) so as to be able to understand what exactly you are trying to achieve?
 * The points should calculated as below? :
 * > As an example of a score report, consider a match between Essendon and Melbourne
   > with the former as the home team. Essendon’s score of 11 goals and 14 behinds
   > equates to 80 points. Melbourne’s score of 10 goals and 7 behinds equates to
   > a 67-point tally. Essendon wins the match by a margin of 13 points.
 * Thanks,
    Savvas

 * Correct in your example
 * You will see with my attachments – the totals don’t work to a correct win/loss
   but its random. Some work – some don’t
 * Didn’t know how to add screenshots so i made [this link](http://descdesigns.com.au/rookie/)

 * First you should create a new variable (Behinds) at `Player Performance`
    [https://snag.gy/7gAviP.jpg](https://snag.gy/7gAviP.jpg)
 * Then you can rename `Goals` variable at `Event Results` to `Points` and add an
   equation like `Goals x 6 + Behinds`. You should check that `Points` are the default
   variable.
    [https://snag.gy/MIY5r2.jpg](https://snag.gy/MIY5r2.jpg)
 * After that, at the Event edit page you should add just the number of goals ans
   behinds of each team, and the Points and the Result will be auto calculated.

 * Thank you – but it didnt worked – still some wrong (GRRRRRR) – I just can’t figure
   it out. Made all the changes like you suggested and thought GREAT it’s working
   then as I got along in the round, nope, it started mucking up again
 * Is there anyway that I can turn **OFF **the outcome? WIN/LOSS – The score says
   it all – It is getting really frustrating and it would just save me a lot of
   time if it wasn’t there. I am going to purchase the PRO – will this happen with
   that too ?
 * Thank you so much for your help so far
