Hi. I recently signed up for Google Adsense, and the code works just fine with every other theme I’ve tried. The problem is, I really like the Aurelia theme, and the code doesn’t appear to be working for it. I suppose I can go back to my old theme, but when you find the one, it’s hard to settle for another, wouldn’t you agree?;)

I pasted the Google Adsense code into my header code, just as I did with every other theme, but I’m not seeing the blank ad(I’m still pending approval). It’s possible it’s there, and is just invisible on this theme for the time being, since there is an extra space at the top of my page, after posting the code, where I’d expect the ad to be. Hopefully that means I’ll be able to see it when the ad is activated. If not, does anyone know of any tricks to get my code to work with Aurelia, or of any similar themes where it is possible to use the code?

I’m not huge on themes with white pages, and I like the dark look of Aurelia, but I also want to start earning ad revenue. Please help if you have the time. Thanks in advance. Oh, my site can be found here: http://landofgaming.net

Use a tool like Firebug, or even just your browser’s “View Source” function, to see if the ad code is indeed in your page.

Thanks. I actually use Safari, on an IPad 5(yeah, probably one of the worst devices to start a blog with, but it’s workable). Safari doesn’t have a “view source” function, as far as I know. Firebug looks a little complicated, but I might look into it. I reviewed the info on Google Adsense, and apparently, it isn’t unusual for the blank ad to blend in with the site, since that’s actually what it’s supposed to do(which means it wasn’t blending in as well as it should, with the other themes).

On my site, I did manage to highlight and select something that’s there, in the ad space, so I’m assuming that’s the ad. I think I’ll just wait and see what happens with it once my approval goes through. I’m actually feeling much more optimistic about it than before, which is just as well, since no other theme that I’ve seen so far, holds a candle to Aurelia IMHO, and I don’t want to settle for something else.
