    Hello,
I am fairly new to using WordPress (it’s been years since I’ve used it). I am using this theme: http://graphpaperpress.com/themes/fullscreen/
and am trying to get a photoblogish site going.
I have uploaded a bunch of images and they are now listed as “unattatched media”. What I need to do for them to show up in the template is create a post for each image. Is there some way to automate creating posts for unattatched media?
Or any other way to quickly post a bunch of images as new posts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • The images will only be attached to a specific Page or Post if you upload them using Add Media whilst editing the relevant Post/Page.

Thanks for the answer. Yes I know that.
The Problem is I don’t have any existing posts. I want to create new posts. I only have images and I somehow need to post them.
If you have 100+ images and want to post them, isn’t there any way to do that (any plugin anyone knows of? I haven’t found anything yet).
    Thanks for the help.

Try looking for a suitable gallery plugin.

I just found a plugin that almost does what I want:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/automatic-featured-image-posts/
Now when I upload images it creates new posts, but it only sets the image as the featured image (not exactly sure what that means) and it doesn’t add the image as the content. So the theme shows the thumbnails on the root page, but when you click on them you only see the title of the picture: http://www.davidgoering.com
I will try and see if I can’t get it working somehow.
If anyone has any ideas on this, it would be appreciated.

Ok I got it working with the Plugin mentioned above. Thanks anyway 🙂
