• Hi,

how do I track the plays or clicks on audio ???

I have read many enquiries from people for this question in the forum and i see no answers. all the posts are more or less unanswered.

I use the plugin Compact audio player for single tracks.

how do I track the plays on audio???

I had set up goals in G.A…but that not working for me, does not track the amount of plays on an audio.

There must be a solution for this!

I need to be able to track plays on a single players and a playlist player. I do not want to put my audios on an external player. I have my audios uploaded onto my website.

it seems to be so unbelievable that there is no way to simply note how many times tracks have been played or clicked on……!

    Please. thanks so much, joan

just a quick note, having the files on your own site will chew through your hosting bandwidth allowance if you get a lot of people streaming the tracks, it could get quite expensive and, depending on your hosting package, could lead your hosts to take down your site if you use too many resources on their system (assuming it’s a shared server).

as for tracking the plays of songs, try this plugin (with an addon required).
