Audio short code – configure width and title

  • I like the [audio] shortcode that WP comes with, works the best for my purposes, however, I find I am having problems configuring it. Namely I am trying to change the width (when it is “expanded” for play) and the title of the song that displays – looking around it seems that I have to use a pipe to separate the things I want (for example [audio http://www.example.com/file.mp3|width=100|Title=Better title] but these don’t seem to work, it just ignores the extra stuff at the end. How do I configure these two elements with the audio shortcode?

[audio] is a shortcode specific to WordPress.com, you should seek support on the forums dedicated to sites hosted there. WordPress.org is for self hosted sites.
