Audio Player Plugin

I installed the “SSG WordPress Google Audio Player” and it works fine but only in Internet Explorer. Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Chrome son;t seem to allow the slide bar and controls from working hence, therefore ergo, no audio.

Does this happen with other audio plugins? Is there a recommended plug in that I might use? Might there be a fix for this problem?

  • This player works very reliably

It works fine in 3.2.1 though it doesn’t say that on the plugin page.

This is interesting because the audio player you indicate was the first that I chose but could not seem to invoke it. The following line calls QuickTime and then produces a slide bar at the center of a blank screen.

    (a href=”http://wpcom.files.wordpress.com/2007/01/mattmullenweg-interview.mp3″ ) Lecture (/a) [Substitute ( & ) for LT and GT]

As it is, with larger files, is line can take a full minute to load before it plays. What code gets added to the code make your suggested audio player work? I had it installed and activated but then had no idea as to what to do next.

With “SSG WordPress Google Audio Player” and Internet Explorer, I get almost instantaneous play and a scroll bar on the original page.

    Hi

I’ve used the Audio Player plugin on many WordPress sites and never had an issue like you are reporting. I don’t know why that might be happening on your site.

There is a website of how to use the plugin here http://wpaudioplayer.com/

Perhaps you can find the answers to your questions there.

So, you have the same line structure as I indicated?
All I need know if that line is correct so I can focus elsewhere.

    [audio:url//information.mp3]
