Audio files on .org and .com - differences? (2 posts)

I have a quick question. I see there is an upgrade pricing schedule for putting audio files on a wordpress.com site. Is there a similar pricing schedule for a wordpress.org site?

I'm helping a friend get her wordpress.com site up, (I have a wordpress.org that was customized), and I'm beginning to wonder if she would be better off with a .org site rather than all the nickels and dimes that are going to start adding up for video, audio, domain pointing, etc.

I pay considerably more for my site to be managed by a third party than her fees for the wordpress.com site. Even if she added everything I think she'd be lower.

What are the advantages, disadvantage, in this particular instance. The audio files.

  2. Well ... No.

WordPress.org you pay for your webhost. So if they allow it, you're in. WordPress.com you pay for add-ons.
