Audio file link stops playing in Chrome

    Hi,

    I currently have a WordPress site that I use for my podcast. I upload the audio mp3 files (about 1 hr. long, approx. 50mb) to my domain site and then I just insert the link on the post, allowing WordPress to generate its built-in player.

    It works pretty good, except for I noticed that it sometimes stops sometimes. At first, I thought it might be a problem with my domain, but after testing it on Firefox, it seems like it only does it in Chrome. After I press play in Firefox, I see the file caching to load as it plays. After a few minutes, the entire file appears to be loaded.

    In Chrome, it looks like it loads much slower. I believe I also tried it in Internet Explorer and it played OK in IE as well.

    Since Chrome is so popular, I’d like to be able fix it so that it works in Chrome. I’ve tried a few different audio plugins, but some don’t work and some work on the desktop, but not in a mobile browser.

    Ok, as soon as I posted this, I tried playing again in Firefox and it locked up less than a minute in. Also, I wanted to add that when I’ve accessed my podcast through podcast software, I’ve rarely, if ever, have had it hiccup, so I’m wondering if it’s a WordPress problem more than a browser or domain issue.
