Audio being played as video

    If I add song.mp3 to blog as audio, it will try to play as video at frontend. The audio can be heard, but there comes this total black page witn “Waiting for video” text in it.. even the audio file plays it seems like an error to user as it waits for video forever..

    How can I fix this?

    Could be a server configuration issue. Have you tried contacting your hosts?

    No, not yet.. but what to ask from the host provider? I mean what could affect the coding in such way? Isn’t it some wordpress included player that takes care of the playing – if so I don’t see what settings should I ask them to chek..

    The server could be incorrectly serving mp3 files as mp4. Ask them to check the mime types for mp3 files.
