Hey ann,
Same Problem as well just posted that as well hah
From What I had experience with and still, this doesn’t solves the issue, or better way of sayingthis the mystery, on why this is happening.
conciser using “contains” instead of “equals” ( in the url section). because url sometimes change. and if you are using “equals” it will only collect exactly what you entreated.
like mentioned above this is just tip Iv learned from someone passing it on, But it didnt solved the issue, but maybe it can, I dont know, lets hope for the best 🙂 Have a great day

Thank you. I am using contains and have this issue regardless. So the problem must lie somewhere else. I was told by support that a technician would be in touch with me, if I posted my problem here … still waiting.
Take care. 🙂
Hi,
could you please share the configuration of custom audience you created? Are there filters? How are they configured?
Let me know, thanks 🙂

Hi, I just saw even my new audience which I set-up yesterday and that was showing 2400 visitors is now down to 20. Major problem there. Is there anywhere I can send you screenshots of my backend?

Thank you. I’d prefer to show that info just to the technical support and not publicly if possible.
You could just explain to me writing what you set in the fields of custom audience and what filters you added.

sure. I have several. Let’s start with the simplest as all of my audiences are suffering from the same problem:
Retention: 180 days
URL to include: URL contains: members.dievogelschule.com
URL to exclude: none
Filters: none
Have you tried to create this custom audience from facebook ads manager directly? In order to understand if it’s a bug of plugin when creating custom audience from admin or it’s something wrong in the custom audience configuration.
Let me know, thanks.

ok. we might be getting closer to the problem: In the Pixel Caffeine dashboard it shows my pixel installed. It is the correct pixel and says: “Automatic facebook connection” after it. But when I check facebook pixel helper, it says: “No pixels found on subdomain.mysite.com”
Any ideas why that may be and how to fix it?
Ps I just checked in pixel caffeine general settings and everything is “green” Trakcing is on and every thing is connected.
On facebook itself it also cannot find the subdomain when I try to set-up a custom audience for it.

Try to open the dev console in your browser (see here how to https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/8525/how-do-i-open-the-javascript-console-in-different-browsers) and switch to the “Console” tab. Let me know if there are some errors there.
Otherwise, it would be better if you are able to share me the website URL 🙂 Thanks.

Hey, I have done that. And there were two errors. I have since disabled pixel caffeine and installed the pixel code into the header.php. That made the errors disappear. So the issue had definitely something to do with pixel caffeine. I guess the next step would be to deinstall it. Download it new and start all over?

ps my website is members.dievogelschule.com
Could you please paste here the two errors you have? In the website URL I don’t see the pixel caffeine activated.

Yes. because I deactivated it.
