Attributes have gone missing – Colours and Sizes specifically

    Several Hundred Colours and Sizes have disappeared from the Products > Attributes section.

    The Tables however seem fine, heaps of records in there.

    Also I am unable to do any Price updates, presumably due to the system thinking there are no Sizes and Colours.

    Is there a fix for this apart from just trying to add a random attribute which someone said worked for them ? Seems it is an issue as such a Bug that has been raised a few times.

    Upgraded to / running 3.4.5

    Hi @krammig,

    Let’s try a few things to see if we can get Attributes back. First, though it’s highly recommended to make a back up of your site before updating/testing:

    Test if this may be a theme/plugin conflict. Try disabling all plugins except for one – WooCommerce – and switching your theme to Storefront to see if that helps at all.

    If you would prefer not to do testing on your live site, create a staging site using this plugin WP Staging (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/). This creates a copy of your live site where you can make tests without affecting your live site.  

    Also, if you have any cache plugins, please flush them to see if that helps.

    You mentioned that a workaround was to add a new attribute and that seemed to have fixed the issue. Does that same happen on your site as well?
