Attorney Theme

I downloaded the Attorney theme https://wordpress.org/themes/attorney/ and could not figure out why the photo slider wouldn’t work, so I removed it and reinstalled with the same results. http://www.createsolutions.com/wp/

I also wonder if it has something to do with the sidebar being there. I tried to remove the sidebar but couldn’t figure out how to do that either.

I love the theme but need some help getting up and running.
