With version 7.0 of Theme My Login, there will be some major, non-backward compatible changes. We would like to disclose them before Monday’s release.

One of the biggest changes is that most of the modules will no longer be included, with the exception of the Custom Passwords module, which has been merged into the core plugin. Modules are now called “extensions” and can be purchased at our online store. Utilizing this new model will allow us to continually develop and release new extensions to enhance the usability of the plugin even more. We thank you for your support in this decision!

The next big change is that the plugin will no longer utilize templates. All forms are now procedurally generated via PHP. The biggest reason for this change is so that we will be able to build an extension that allows you to build forms in your admin area.

We thank you for your continued usage of this plugin and hope that you will stay with us for exciting things to come!

@thememylogin @jfarthing84 These forums are not your blog. I’ve archived all of the replies and closed this topic.

If you want to support the version of your plugin on WordPress.org then cool! That’s allowed here.

If you want to post some announcement here about your plugin? Also cool but go to the #forums channel in Slack and the moderators will close that announcement and remove any replies as I have done.

If you want to post a link to your site where you users can opine about this announcement then please do so with a new sticky post. Which will get promptly closed too.
