Attempted to Configure Schema, but Took Site Down

    I added Local Business Schema to the homepage for a couple sites today using this plugin and it took all other pages on the site down. It is not clear how to configure a single-page (homepage in this case) schema update.

    When I walked through the setup to configure what page that schema should show on, I selected the Homepage and no other pages as I don’t want this on all pages. This then threw a PHP error on every other page of the website.

    Oh, That’s extremely critical issue then.

    Can you please help me see that error? Can you share the URL or that PHP error?

    I will get it fixed ASAP.

    I tried occurring on my end but it seems to work fine. Our only hope to get this bug fixed is you.

    I have since disabled the plugin on both sites, so it is not replicated in production anywhere.

    Steps to replicate:
    1. Enable plugin
    2. Complete setup wizard
    3. Add new Schema
    4. Select Local Business
    5. Enter information
    6. Select placement on Homepage = True
    7. Save
    8. Homepage schema is present
    9. Navigation to otehr pages outside of the homepage throw error

    This happened on two sites, the only common plugin was they both use Advanced Custom Fields, but that shouldn’t interrupt.

    Do I need to try and configure on a page type rather than homepage? My goal is to only put this Local Business schema on the homepage for my sites.

    This is a valid issue. We have created a ticket on github ( https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/schema-and-structured-data-for-wp/issues/330 ).

    It will be fixed in next update.

    This issue has been fixed. Please try our latest version 1.8.7.
