Support » Plugin: Broken Link Checker » Attempt to import database tables into MySQL Cluster Fails

  • Looking to move wordpress installations which are using this plugin to a new environment where the database will be housed in MySQL Cluster. The table wp_blc_links has issue with the url field being defined as text and used in an index field which is incompatible for NDBCLUSTER engine. The following error is encountered while trying to alter the table to utilize the ndbcluster engine: ERROR 1073 (42000): BLOB column ‘url’ can’t be used in key specification with the used table type.

When this table was removed from the mysqldump file for import into ndbcluster, the import was then successful. We will need to drop usage of this plugin until this issue is resolved and support for mysql cluster is supported.

The specific version of the mysql cluster that we will be using is 7.2.10 for Debian.
