Attachments not working on first post

    This can be theme related (template missing some actions/filters). Switch to WP default themes and try to see if it works.

    Hi Milan,

    I tried pushing the site to staging and switching themes to twentyseventeen, and deactivating all plugins but bbPress and GD bbPress Attachments, but the first post still did not allow an image attachment while the second reply did.

    I wonder if this is limited to WPEngine hosts.

    I don’t believe that this can be hosting related. Do you have any errors in the JavaScript browser console or the server PHP error log?

    Nothing in the PHP error logs or the developer console.

    I can’t reproduce the problem on my end, there are no errors logged on your side. Sorry, without the in-depth debugging, I can’t help you.
