In the form-tag for the uploads, try specifying the file type(s) you want to allow. e.g.

    [file your-file filetypes:pdf|txt|doc|docx|png|jpg]

    File Uploading and Attachment

Thank you, barnez; however, I am looking to block attachments, not specifying certain types.

If you specify certain filetypes, this means that only these are allowed, and all other file extension uploads are denied. e.g.

[file your-file filetypes:pdf|txt] = .pdf & .txt file uploads allowed, .zip files and all other file types denied

[file your-file filetypes:pdf|zip] = .pdf & .zip file uploads allowed, all other file types denied

    * Note that if you are receiving emails with .zip attachments to your email address that are not being sent directly from the contact form (e.g. they just have your email address), then there is nothing Contact Form 7 can do about this. In this case you need to adjust your spam settings in your cPanel or whatever web hosting panel you use (e.g. Spamassassin).

@camscorner If you haven’t put a file field on your contact form, then those spam emails are not coming from contact form.

Thanks, OC2P2 and barnez. I will check with my web host.
