# Attaching to posts

 * Hi,
    Added your plugin to add some missing featured images on some of my posts
   and works great except the images are not attaching to the posts, they are set
   as featured image and is showing on the pages but in the media section it is 
   showing unattached. Have i missed a setting or is that how it is?

 * Ok, I understand and it’s normal. By default, images are marked as attached to
   a post only when it is uploaded manually with the media uploader into the post.
 * But it seems that it’s possible to set up programmatically, so I’ll try to add
   it for the next plugin release.
